GEOGRAPHICAL LOCATION AND CLIMATE
Çakır Bağları is located in the Kuşçular region of the Urla peninsula at an altitude of 50-55 meters. It is 6 km from İçmeler Bay and 8 km from Azmak Bay, which is surrounded by Gülbahçe, İçmeler and Özbek. The Kuşçular region has a typical Mediterranean climate with hot and dry summers and mild and rainy winters. In summer, sea-effect winds cool the vineyards, allowing the grapes to ripen slowly and evenly. Day and night temperature differences help to enrich the aromatic compounds of the grapes and maintain the acid balance.
